Rained Out Football Game?????
It is a little after 12:00 EST. Dillon's last football game as a West View Vol is supposed to be played tonight at David Crockett. There is serious talk of it being canceled not to be made-up. Its raining and has been raining for awhile. This is football the only sport that mother-nature can only stop if there is lightning. Someone please explain this to me.

And it's not as if they had a dimsal season. They played some good football. If the principal doesn't want to deal with this part of being a principal, then he should go into administration and not deal with the kids first hand. Some of those boys do not have the talent to play at the next level, and he took their last game away from them.
Dr. Gambell asnwered my first e-mail inquiry as to why the game wasn't played. All he offered was an excuse - not a reason. When I - very politely - called him on his answer, he has yet to respond. In his initial response, he assured me that the West View Football Team would be recognized at the Musket Bowl - like that compares with the actual playing of your last elementary school game, the out come would have determined their final standing in the county - 2nd or 3rd place.
