That is the new puppy!

Just think when Sheri was born, my Mother ran a computer that took up an entire room. Now today, I'm typing on my computer in my bedroom, and it's going all the way to California!! I had to do this since Jonathan is so-o-o-o good at it - I had to at least try.
Matthew, Dillon and I have started saving money for our plane tickets to California for your graduation from Alta Loma High School. You know if we only get enough money for a one way ticket, that means we'll be living with you. Tell you Dad that, and he'll start saving money, too.

Is there any way to wrap your children in bullet proof clothing?? Dillon will be a student there next year. Can you say RX medications for his mother. UGH!!!!!

It took me a while to figure out how to make posts. There’s a more straightforward method, so if someone has figured that out and wants to post it, that would be even better...but here’s how I usually do it.

Log on (as if you are going to comment on someone else’s post). Click your name under "Contributors." That brings you to another screen, where you can click "Edit your profile." Then click, "back to dashboard" and then click the green plus sign under "New Post."

To add a picture, click on the icon of the picture to the top right of where you type in the post. It lets you choose where you want to put the photo in the post, and how big to make it. (In the "Busted" post, I chose center and large, for instance.) Then click on "Browse" under "Add an image from your computer" and find the picture you want to add on your computer, and then click "Upload Image."

When you have the post the way you want it, click "Publish post."

The kid really should take up volleyball or high jump or hurdles. That's the loveseat below Matthew. Apparently, he needed to exit the living room more quickly than walking around it would allow...and also apparently, his little brother was ready with the camera...

So back to the story. The Vols look great in their season opener. On to DJ last Saturday was the Jr. Pioneers season opener. DJ is running the ball this year which he likes MUCH more than being the QB. He scored 3 touchdowns had about 80 yards as best we could tell. First play from the line of scrimmage DJ 40 yards for the touchdown. Yes I was very proud but his father was in tears. I knew even through the sunglasses he had on. I am so glad you started this hope to add more soon and figure out how to add pictures and such :) Love you all

I am giving this a try so if it dosen't work don't make fun of me. This is my first blog EVER!!!! I am so excited that you did this. I really was keeping up with you guys through the Clements famliy blogg site. I do admitt I really enjoyed it. Well the mighty West View Vols won their season opener yesterday against Lamar/South Central 24-6. Go vols. Dillon is the starting center and guard on defense. Got to go will finish later.

Jonathan's big comment after his first day back was, "The school's been overrun with Munchkins." Apparently, he's a great deal taller than pretty much all of the seventh graders. (I bet many of them outweigh him, though!)

In an interesting reversal of their usual styles, Matthew had plenty to say about his first day back. He's taking Computer Science with pretty much all of his friends, Mr. Thornhill was delighted to have him back in Architectural Design and Engineering II, two of his best friends are in Algebra II, another of his friends has Chemistry the period before him, and this year's Honors English teacher is way cooler than last year's (he still does not expect English to be his favorite class).

Alta Loma High School has three tracks: Honors, College Prep, and General. I wondered how much difference there was between especially the first two tracks, but Matthew says quite a bit. He had to drop down to College Prep World History in order to fit Drafting II into his schedule, and he says the class is noticably different from his honors classes. : (

Baseball practice starts Thursday. Jon's on a team with two former teammates from the Yankees and one of his best friends. It's a pretty young team, in that most of them are baseball age 13, with relatively few 14 year olds.

We have to get metal cleats and a big barrel bat. Yikes. We went to the Sports Chalet Outlet, but all they had was rubber cleats, so this could hurt.

Yesterday my mother made us clean the garage, and now she's making me help her clean her room.

I can't wait to go back to school so I don't have to clean the house anymore!
