Yet ANOTHER Sport Starting
This week, Jonathan had his first volleyball practice on Tuesday. Today, he had volleyball practice from 2:10 to 3:30, and then baseball batting practice from 6 to 7:30. Tomorrow, he has volleyball practice from 2:10 to 3:30, and then he has to be at pre-game baseball practice at 5:30. The game will go until 9.
Next week, he has baseball games on Monday and Thursday, hitting practice Wednesday, and a volleyball game on Tuesday.
Yikes!

He's got floor burns on his knees from diving for the ball, but he's still resisting getting knee pads. I have no idea why, but I think it's because he thinks they are girly.
Last night, they were winning when he left the mound. Two innings later, they lost 9-4.
Jon went 1-3, but his big story was his defense. Fielded a bunt and tagged the kid out, leaped way high off the mound to catch a bouncer and throw a kid out at first, and then, at first, he fielded a throw so high that he was fully extended and jumping...and still got the kid out. (On that play, the shortstop's dad yelled out to him--"You owe Jon for that one, Peyton!!")
Two more baseball games left.

Jonathan's first volleyball match, they won 3-0. Then they played a round robin match with two schools, and lost all three games. Not sure when the next game is (I've yet to see a single one).
